The first advice I can give you right off the bat is get SOLID and planned singing lessons. Most novice singers will spend their first few months trying to find free online singing lessons and the result is very poor progress.

What I would like to stress is that these tips are great, but I always recommend to stay away from free YouTube video lessons, because there’s no structure.
If you try to learn how to sing from free lessons, you’ll soon discover that’s it’s a painful task because there isn’t a library of lessons and steps from A to Z. This is why an actual program of online singing lessons is recommended to get you organized and on the right path to improve your voice correctly.
